Extrude Shapes

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to extrude different types of shapes using the OCCT category in the Rete editor on the Bitbybit platform. Matas Ubarevicius will guide you through the key steps for extruding various shapes and explain how different inputs affect the output.

Here's what you need to know: Extruding a line creates a face. Extruding a wire (a set of connected edges) produces a shell. Extruding a face results in a solid.

Matas will also show you how to use vector direction to control the extrusion height and angle.

OpenCascade is a powerful geometry kernel, and this simple yet essential command allows you to easily turn 2D geometry into 3D.
